06.02.05 - PRE-ORDER 'PICTURE' ONLINE


Artwork from the DVD bookletPICTURE is released on 28th February in Europe, and 22nd February in the USA. You can pre-order from various online retailers including:

Racket Records: Standard single-disc CD
Amazon.co.uk: Ltd edition two-disc digipack / Standard single-disc CD
Play.com: Ltd edition two-disc digipack / Standard single-disc CD

The limited edition digipack comes with a DVD featuring four songs filmed for the Rockpalast TV show at the Underground, Koln in December.

These are LEAVE A LIGHT ON / LETTING GO / SWIMMING IN WOMEN / LOSERS' DAY PARADE.

 

06.02.05 - KINO @ THE DUTCH MARILLION FAN CLUB CONVENTION
Last weekend (Saturday 29 January 2005), Messrs Mitchell and Beck joined Pete Trewavas at the Dutch Marillion fan club convention at the Tivoli in Utrecht, and played the following songs on stage, before joining the whole of Marillion on stage for an encore of 'Made Again'.

03.02.05 - KINO CONCERT ON WDR TV
The German TV channel WDR will broadcast KINO's concert from The Underground in Koln on their Rockpalast show, Monday 7 February 2005 at 01.15 - 3.00 CET. Check out the Rockpalast website for more details.

John Mitchell, Pete Trewavas and John Beck will also team up to play a set at the Dutch Marillion fanclub convention on Saturday 29 January 2005.

 

02.01.05 - ALBUM RELEASE
KINO's album PICTURE will be released on InsideOut Records on 28 February 2005. Right-click and 'Save Target As' on this link to download a 4 minute (5MB) sampler showcasing clips from a few tracks on the album.

There will also be a special edition version of the album available which will include a DVD of the Rockpalast concert at The Underground in Koln.

Three singles are also planned for release, the first potentially being LEAVE A LIGHT ON.

 

13.12.04 - LIVE DATES
KINO have just played two live gigs in Europe, showcasing their album PICTURE prior to its release on 28 February 2005. The first gig was at the Tivoli in Utrecht, Netherlands, on 2 December, followed by a second gig at The Underground in Koln, Germany, on 8 December which was filmed for the German WDR TV programme "Rockpalast". This is due for broadcast on Monday 7 February 2005 - check out www.rockpalast.de for more information.

Chris Maitland was unable to join them for these dates due to prior touring commitments, so Steve Hughes stepped in for the occasion.
